Community of Communities Gathering

Thursday, July 15, 2010 (next Thursday), we'll be meeting with our Franciscan brothers and sisters at the Church of St. Bridget (3811 N Emerson Avenue) at 7pm.
The gathering is hosted by the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls
and the Franciscan Friars, TOR These sisters and brothers are continuing in the tradition of Francis and Clare of Assisi–living the Gospel in the world.

After some initial informal time to greet one another, the sisters and friars will share about their tradition, their communities, and engage in some Q&A about their way of life.

There will be some snacks and beverages provided, but we encourage you to bring something to share as well.

Christmas Program

Everyone is invited to the Saint Joseph Lab School Christmas program. It will begin at 5:45 pm on Thursday, December 17 in the Escher Auditorium of the BAC at the College of St. Benedict. Attendees are asked to bring donations for the St. Joseph Community Food Shelf.

Becoming Community November 19

Speaker Kevin LaNave from the Center for Service Learning and Social Change will speak on "Becoming Community"

Where are you? Included? Excluded? Do you belong? Do you just fit in?

Come and discuss these vital questions with other young adults at the Franciscan Welcoming House on November 19 from 6-8pm (dinner included).
