December 13th is our next get together. Cara Sandquist, CSB alumna and local educator, will be speaking about her former volunteer work in Tanzania. Having lived and worked in an African Benedictine convent for 9 months, Cara served the sisters of Imiliwaha, Tanzania, focusing on the children housed at the local sister-run orphanage. She will share her experience working in a faithful yet impoverished community, and also the role the Catholic church plays in the Tanzanian society.Join us for dinner, drinks, conversation, and fun.
